The PDK Educational Foundation endowed scholarship program provides financial assistance for undergraduate and advanced degree education. These scholarships are funded through the generosity of donors – members of Phi Delta Kappa, Educators Rising and Pi Lambda Theta who are committed to supporting the next generation of K – 12 public educators. Additionally, the program relies on the support of engaged members who serve as volunteer scholarship evaluators. See the full list of this year’s volunteers here.
Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the college or university on behalf of the recipient. For more information about how the program works, please thoroughly review this website and the Scholarship FAQs before starting your application.
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- A paid member in good standing of one of the following associations: Educators Rising, Phi Delta Kappa, and/or Pi Lambda Theta; and
- Pursuing a career in education — usually this means you will be or already are enrolled in a School of Education; and
- Enrolled full- or part-time for the fall semester of the application year. If you will not be enrolled and paying tuition and fees in the fall, then you are not eligible.
